My name is d.w. moody. I am a would-be poet, writer and artist. As a poet I tend to focus on either surreal experimental poems or social commentaries, often stories of the dark streets of life. My writing delves into many genres or subjects, but often experimental. I haven’t worked on much art in a way, but when I get a chance I like to work within the mediums of film/video and various conceptual experiments.

In addition I love to travel and have a variety of interests that engage me, everything from the mystical, to the hard sciences to the social sciences to the arts to social action to the mundane. I pretend to be a pseudo-intellectual with a conscience living a bohemian life, but the truth is I am a yuppie, often too afraid to stand up for what I believe and terrified of stepping into the unknown. What else is there to say other than I am married, have two cats, have the power to sleep anywhere and generally smile through the ups and downs of life.
