In the 1960s-1970s many on the far left believed that a revolution was coming. They tried to create social change at times through extreme social actions, what some today might call terrorism. Although these were interesting experiments no revolution occurred and further one has to wonder if the actions they took justified the end result they were seeking. Even further can a few individuals take a revolution into the direction they wish it to once it has begun. I doubt it. I think it comes down to whether society as a whole is ready for a change. Change often occurs slowly without those who are taking part in the process even realize it is occurring. That doesn’t mean people sit by and do nothing. People should stand by their conscience. People should consider the world as a whole and how their actions may impact others. The trick is everyone has different ways of seeing things, different interpretations of the correct course of action.
